Introduction to Cellular Animal Science

The aim of this course is to offer introductory and critical reflection of the demand, the production, the challenges and benefits, the Global Value Chain and intentions of consumption, amongst other characteristics of cell-based meat. The course will involve online synchronous participation, as well as additional asynchronous homework. By the end of this course, participants will understand the main concepts and issues related to cell-based meat, with the opportunity to form educated opinions, becoming apt to engage in general discussions on the topic.
