Our research focusses on the safe, sustainable and cost-effective development of large-scale bioprocesses. We have extensive expertise in bioprocess design, with a focus on scale-up and industrial scale (> 100,000 L) bioreactor design and modelling. As part of this we have developed and validated computational models for large-scale bioreactors and we are looking to apply this work to alternative fermentation processes.
