Zoocel’s mission is to contribute to advances in teaching, research and extension in the area of cellular zootechnics, with a view to accelerating the development and adoption of new food production systems capable of contributing to food security, reducing the risk of diseases and antimicrobial resistance, mitigating the climate and environmental impacts of food production of animal origin and, especially, replacing the use of animals for food production.
