I am working with Azolla sp. This fern plant has between 20-30 % of protein, all the essential amino acids and grow fast. It occurs in the Amazon, but it is not used as food for animals or to human kind in the region. My first objective is to evaluate how to growth this plant using different salt solutions and its nutritional quality for human consumption.
